Jin Young Jung, a branch manager of W. Seoul & Gyeonggi Branch, told “Our country has labeled as the only divided country in the world but the wind of peace, which patriotic martyrs and all Koreans have longed for, is starting to blow from Korean Peninsula to the whole world.”
And he continued, “Making this country a land of peace and prosperity is a historical calling given to us who live in this era. We have the responsibility to pass down a peaceful world without war to future generations,” emphasizing that “If all citizens gather their hearts as one, peaceful unification will surely be achieved.”
The event proceeded with a minute of silence and laying a wreath to the deceased patriots followed by the incense burning. After that, Bucheon Branch of the Korean War Veterans Association and the National Federation of Enhancement of Teaggeukgi Awareness signed Memorandum of understanding (MOU) for Peace Supporting Initiative to wish peace together.
